Introduction Of PVC Board And Other Kinds Of Boards

May 20, 2022

Today, I'd like to introduce PVC board and other common types of boards, including cast slate, microcrystalline board, nylon board and high molecular weight polyethylene board. Let's have a look.

PVC board is a kind of vacuum plastic film, which is made of PVC and has a honeycomb network structure. It is used for surface packaging of various panels, so it is also known as decorative film and sticking film. It is used in building materials, packaging, medicine and many other industries. Among them, the building materials industry accounts for a large proportion, accounting for 60%, followed by the packaging industry, and several other small-scale application industries. According to the hardness, it can be divided into soft PVC board and hard PVC board. According to the manufacturing process, it can be divided into PVC skin foam board and non PVC board foam board.

Cast Slate: This product is made of some mineral and soil raw materials, condensed into liquid at high temperature, then poured into slab, and then polished to shape. Most of its consumers are concentrated in areas where raw materials for ceramic products are consumed.

Microcrystalline board: This product is made by smelting extracted glass with quartz sand, pouring the residual slag into the slab, and then grinding and trimming. At present, there is only one consumer next to the glass factory.

Nylon board: This product is made of nylon and is called 'oily nylon'. It is made by casting and pressing after being heated and condensed into liquid. Stainless steel plate: select the stainless steel plate sold on the market as the lining material. It can be directly welded without forming. They are sold all over the country.

High molecular weight polyethylene plate: it is made of high molecular weight polyethylene. High molecular weight polyethylene is relatively good in all aspects of polyethylene plastic, with a relative molecular weight of more than 1.5 million. Because its lower limit flow rate in the molten state is equal to zero, it cannot be extruded or injected, and can only be formed by calcination.

PVC board can be seen everywhere in people's daily life. PVC can not only express the colors in nature, but also the colors in people's imagination. In Germany, nearly half of the furniture is made of PVC, such as desks, bookshelves, sofas and kitchen cabinets. It is a kind of synthetic material which is deeply loved, popular and widely used in the world.
